Interests
Music - all sorts. The only things I don't listen to are rap, R&B, country, really heavy metal and opera. I also like art, my deviantArt is here: SomersetRaven. Embroidery is a recent hobby, I started March 2020 during the Coronavirus lockdown. Writing is another big thing to me, I am trying to write a novel... Or 20 XD Animals are another big thing to me, I love horses but unfortunately I don't know how to ride :( I have a mad Borzoi called Forest who was born May 2017 and came home July 2017. Other than that I am boring. I live with my mum still, I'm forever alone type single, only ever had one proper relationship. I don't go out, I rarely drink (we might buy some Martini at Christmas). I dislike people you see.

Occupation
Assistant Manager at a Mind charity shop.
I did the mandatory schooling up to 16, then I did 2 extra years trying to pass my Maths and English GCSE's which I did on the second year/third try. After that I went to college for a year and did a First Diploma in Animal Care which I really enjoyed, particularly meeting all the animals, there was: horses, dogs, snakes, alpacas, rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas, hamsters, mice, rats, degus, a chipmunk, a bird of some kind (maybe a budgie), tortoises, turtles, bearded dragons, geckos, skinks, hermit crabs, snails, frogs, stick insects, fish, a water dragon, a hedgehog (which died), an iguana, chickens, goats, possibly some I've forgotten. I got through with a pass. While I was at college I was simultaneously working in a newsagent. I left after just over a year in 2009, I didn't get on with my boss and there were some other complications...

Unfortunately that was when the recession hit. I was doing routine volunteering work in charity shops to help build up my experience and fills the gap in my CV a little bit. It helped as I want to mainly work in retail particularly seeing as my ideals aren't possible. My ideal careers are horse groom, forensic scientist, pathologist, vet nurse, psychologist, tattooist, piercer or librarian. The last one seems the most possible but I saw a job advertised locally to me a while ago and they required an NVQ - I'm assuming in English, which I don't have.

Quirks
My phobias are bees, wasps, flies, small spaces, crowds, children, ladders (standing on), clowns, dolls, spiders and moths. I'm also not fond of strange men and being touched by strangers.
I collect ornaments, mostly animals/fantasy. Horses, unicorns, wolves, fairies, dragons, dogs, dolphins, cats, owls, whales. Some of my friends would also say that I collect books... They are rather taking over the flat XD.
Possibly autistic/ADHD. Definitely undiagnosed depression. Struggle with dermatillomania sometimes (skin picking).

Beliefs
I don't believe in organised religion. I'm still learning about it but I consider myself Pagan. I hate war and don't think it's as necessary as the British and American governments lead us to believe. I am pro-choice and think that abortion is absolutely necessary in certain cases. And for those that are anti-abortion would you rather women kill themselves getting an illegal one? How about if it meant your wife dying if she didn't get one?

Obviously I also believe in gay rights and gay marriage should be legal worldwide. Rather ambitious I know and it likely won't happen in my lifetime seeing as in some countries being gay means a prison term if not death. *sigh* I am also a feminist and not afraid to admit it. As far as I'm concerned if you want men and women to have equal rights, equal pay and equal choice then you are a feminist. And by equal choice I mean being able to choose who you want to marry or if you want to have kids. There are still so many instances of arranged marriages in the UK (don't know so much about America) even now in 2017 which are often instigated by the parents. Doesn't anyone get any choice? It doesn't appear so to me... I don't know I'm not that knowledgeable about it. Speaking of kids, I don't want any. Likely ever. IF I change my mind then I would consider fostering/adoption instead.

Also what so many people seem to misunderstand about feminism is that it helps men too. Men who are too afraid of being called a pussy for getting help with their mental health (thus making suicide the biggest killer of men under 45), men who deserve to have custody of the children for whatever reason (disappointingly in these cases women are favoured over men even if they are the worse choice for the child), men who suffer sexual or domestic violence who are not listened to, men who get teased for going into traditionally feminine job roles like nurse or midwife. The whole idea of things being masculine or feminine! Women cook and clean, men do DIY. Bullshit! Take my mum, she's not fond of cooking but she LOVES DIY and she's good at it.

Black lives matter. Trans people matter. Trans women are real women. Labels help people.
